I am a massive cat fanatic so find it difficult to believe that I am sending in a story about my rottweiler but here it goes.

My hubby Stephen and I have been hitched for twenty nine years now and have owned dogs in all shapes and sizes. We have always wanted a rottweiler dog, but when the kids came along, we could never seem to scrape enough money together to buy one.

I have been working mirthfully all my life but one day woke up and decided enough was enough and decided early retirement was the only way ahead, so I determined to buy Stephen a rotweiler to keep him company out on the road.

From the starting one of our rottweilers Sandy sat in the front seat with Stephen so he could get used to the truck as the long jaunts ahead on the road would be a lot harder than the shorter ones.

"Stephen," as he was referred to when speaking to Sandy, determined it was too difficult taking a young dog out with him, so she ended up staying home.

Now that one of our rottweiler puppies Sandy stays the most of the day at home he gets frantic when he sees Stephen at the end of the week. No doubt you have seen how your rottie reacts when they havent seen anybody awhile

One thing that we ne'er coached her to do, but she grasped on her own is, when Stephen goes in the sitting room to sit down and relax, one of us will say, "Sandy, give Stephen big kisses," and she'll jump up on the top of the couch, run over to him, then climb down on his chest to lick his face..

Sandy goes bananas when visitors come over as it gives her a great chances to show people her repertory of tricks. She loves veiling behind the settee then grumbling quietly to see how people respond . When I have a bit more time I will surely send you in some unique stories about Sandy.
